Role: Supervisor - Global Business Solutions
We are in search of a driven and seasoned Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in finance and accounting, with prior supervisory experience being advantageous. In this role, you will oversee a team of trainees, ensuring the precise and timely delivery of payroll and accounting services to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of accounting professionals, offering guidance, support, and constructive feedback to promote high performance and productivity.
- Examine and authorize financial documents, including monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll reports, to guarantee accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines across all service lines.
- Design and implement processes and procedures to enhance workflows and boost efficiency within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to synchronize additional services provided to your client portfolio.
- Educate team members on accounting principles, software applications, and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor client accounts and promptly address any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or AAT qualified. Part qualified/qualified ACCA is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with previous supervisory experience being advantageous.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
