Job Title: Assistant Professor in Simulation of Energy Materials

We are seeking a talented scientist with a developing international profile to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Simulation of Energy Materials. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the theory and simulation of materials relevant to the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a successful research programme in the area of materials simulation for energy applications
  • Teach and contribute to the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Department of Chemistry
  • Contribute to the running of the MPhil programme in Advanced Materials for the Energy Transition
  • Collaborate with experimentalists to advance the field of materials simulation for energy
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant subject area
  • Strong commitment to teaching and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
