Assistant Professor of Materials Science

We are seeking a talented scientist with a developing international profile to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Materials Science. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject area and a proven track record of leading a successful research programme. They will also have an aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and will be expected to contribute to academic activities in the Department of Chemistry and the School of Physical Sciences.

The post is available from 1st January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will primarily focus their teaching and administration on co-directing the AMET MPhil programme, working closely with co-directors in the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy and Physics. They will also support some teaching and administration at other levels in the Department of Chemistry.
