About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, ensuring their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support clients with mobility and communication needs, including transfers and hoisting
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and support
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with spinal injuries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
