We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our client's support package in the Worcester area.
Our client is a 45-year-old gentleman who has memory problems and epilepsy resulting from a brain injury. He requires support with everyday tasks and needs a proactive Support Worker to enable him to be more independent and achieve his potential.
This role involves supporting our client with attending appointments and shopping trips, general help around the home, and helping him to keep his diary up-to-date. You will also assist with ordering and organizing his medication.
No personal care is involved in this role, and drivers are not essential. However, if you do drive, our client has a motability vehicle that you will use.
Requirements- A good level of education is required.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
- You must be willing to commit to long-term care for one client in a 'person-centred' way.
- You will need to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
- You must respect Company policies and procedures.
- You should be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate.
- You must be committed to confidentiality and treat the client with dignity and respect.
- Hourly rate of £11.67 per hour.
- Company pension scheme.
- Enhanced bank holiday payments.
- Annual Leave is paid at 5.6 weeks (pro-rata) per annum, based on contracted hours.
We offer full support and supervision from your dedicated Regional Care Lead, training and full support from your local HCD Community Nurse Assessor, career pathway options, a personal development plan, and 24hr on-call support.
