SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at an Outstanding school in Brent, North West London. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and teaching a class of 7 pupils with highly specialised provisions for learners with Complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and supporting pupils with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans to meet the needs of pupils
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and other staff members to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Experience of working with SEN pupils in a teaching environment
  • A passion for the progress of SEN school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team and flexible approach to support the school's requirements
