OCS Group is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Rushden Lakes Shopping Complex. This is a night shift position, working 4 on - 4 off, from 19:00 to 07:00. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a visible security presence and provide a customer-friendly service
- Patrol and monitor premises and personnel to prevent anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity
- Liaise with the Police and store management as required
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Deal with difficult situations in a safe and professional manner
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- SIA license (DS or Security)
- Previous experience in a Retail Security Role is an advantage, but full training will be given
