Job Profile for Part 2 Architectural Assistant

A small and dynamic architectural firm based in the UK is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to work on multiple projects alongside a diverse team of Partners, Architects, and Technologists. Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000 DOE, flexible working options, a friendly work environment, and the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in client meetings, taking briefs, presenting design ideas, and gathering feedback for project refinement
  • Collaborate with structural engineers, M&E consultants, and other professionals to integrate their input into the design process
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess conditions and constraints, ensuring designs are grounded in real-world contexts
  • Assist senior architects and project managers with coordination, timelines, and documentation across project stages
  • Stay updated with architectural trends, material innovations, and technologies to apply new methods in design projects
Requirements
  • RIBA Part 2 Qualification
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative and technical abilities
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning procedures
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
Remuneration

£28,000 - £35,000 salary (D.O.E.)
