Robotics Software Engineer

A dynamic team of engineers, scientists, and robotics specialists is seeking a commercially experienced Robotics Software Developer to join their automation solutions team. This role offers the chance to be involved in all stages of software and product development, providing input on system architecture, prototype design, implementation, analysis, testing, and debugging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement software solutions.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of robotics control systems.
- Work with industrial, networked communication protocols and robotic prototyping software such as ROS 1 or 2.
- Develop and maintain large-scale, safety-critical systems.
Requirements:
- Good degree in a relevant technical subject, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Commercial software development experience, ideally leading software development within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent knowledge of Python and either C++ or C#.
- Experience working on robotics control systems and industrial communication protocols.
- Full rights to work in the UK without time limit.
