Location: Linton, Cambridgeshire
**Position Overview**: As a Teaching Assistant at Clearly Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs. You'll work alongside experienced educators and specialists to facilitate personalised learning, promote independence, and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt curriculum materials.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional development of all students.
**Skills**:
- Passion for working with students with special needs.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in special education or related fields are a plus.

- Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate
- Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
**Safeguarding**
At Clearly Education we are committed to ensuring the safety of all children and promoting their welfare. We expect our staff to adhere to this and show the same commitment when working within the schools across Cambridgeshire. All successful applicants will be put through safeguarding checks and have an enhanced DBS check. We will also require your completed DBS to be put on the DBS government update service.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £75.00-£90.00 per day
