About the RoleWe are currently seeking a talented SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and caring individual to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support and guidance to pupils, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills, and overcome challenges.
Responsibilities- Support pupils during lessons, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that pupils receive engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that fosters emotional well-being and social growth among pupils.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong educational background, ideally up to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
- Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
We offer a competitive salary range of £19,186.02 - £22,160.57 per annum, plus benefits including company pension, life assurance, and employee discount scheme.
