Our client, a well-established market leader in commercial interiors, is seeking an experienced Specification Sales Manager to join their team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for generating specifications with specifiers, architects, and interior designers, as well as managing and selling directly to fit-out contractors and flooring contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Field sales role selling a full range of manufactured high-quality commercial interiors.
- 60% of time will be spent generating specifications with specifiers, architects, and interior designers (A&D).
- Remaining 40% of time managing and selling directly to fit-out contractors and flooring contractors.
- Turnover target £800k.
- Targeting commercial buildings such as office blocks, education sector (schools, universities & colleges), hospitality & leisure, high-rise residential, and a small amount of healthcare.
- Utilizing Glenigan leads, in-house CRM database, and telesales leads.
- Field sales proven track record of selling into the architects or interior designers (A&D) specification marketplace.
- Open to most interior products such as contract furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, ceiling, partitioning, furniture, etc.
- Promoting new products ideally suited to specification selling.
- Contractor field sales experience also of interest.
- Prior experience of selling into office blocks, education sector (schools, universities & colleges), hospitality & leisure, high-rise residential, and healthcare may be advantageous.

Their stylish on-trend interior products can be seen in commercial new build projects throughout the UK, such as 4 & 5-star hotels, high-spec offices, etc.

Package:- £50,000-£55,000
- £8,000-£12,000 uncapped commission rising in year 2
