About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead to join our team at CV-Library. As a Data Migration Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of a 12-month project to update our case management system, migrating all our data onto a new platform.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Migration Planning: Develop a detailed plan for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from the old system to the new case management system.
  2. Data Quality Management: Ensure that the data being migrated is clean, accurate, and complete.
  3. Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with IT, business analysts, and test teams to ensure that data migration aligns with the new system's requirements.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the data migration process, such as data loss or corruption, and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Execution of Data Migration: Oversee the actual migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  6. Post-Migration Validation: Conduct post-migration audits and checks to ensure that all data has been correctly transferred and is functioning as expected in the new system.
