About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead to join our team at Michael Page (UK) and play a key role in delivering a 12-month project to update our case management system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Migration Planning: Develop a comprehensive plan for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from our old system to the new case management system.
  2. Data Quality Management: Ensure that the data being migrated is accurate, complete, and free from errors.
  3. Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with IT, business analysts, and test teams to ensure that data migration aligns with the new system's requirements.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the data migration process and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Execution of Data Migration: Oversee the actual migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  6. Post-Migration Validation: Conduct post-migration audits and checks to ensure that all data has been correctly transferred and is functioning as expected in the new system.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data migration planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of data mapping documentation and data quality assessment.
  • Ability to work closely with IT, business analysts, and test teams.
  • Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills.
