Job Title: Regional Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Category Manager to join our Global Sourcing and Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional and local category strategies that align with our global category directives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in category management, with experience in IT, Professional Services, and Travel and Expenses. You will be responsible for scoping and managing the supply base in the region, ensuring compliance with our global category strategy.

As a Regional Category Manager, you will work closely with our Sr. Category Managers and Indirect Regional Procurement Managers to develop and implement regional category strategies. You will also be responsible for leading regional sourcing and supplier management plans to deliver planned results in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

We are looking for a candidate who is a strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills. You will be able to provide guidance and motivation to teams and build effective relationships with peers. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering, and 8+ years of experience in category management, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional and local category strategies that align with our global category directives
  • Scope and manage the supply base in the region, ensuring compliance with our global category strategy
  • Lead regional sourcing and supplier management plans to deliver planned results in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Work closely with our Sr. Category Managers and Indirect Regional Procurement Managers to develop and implement regional category strategies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in category management
  • Strong background in IT, Professional Services, and Travel and Expenses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide guidance and motivation to teams and build effective relationships with peers
