About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide support to children with their learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support children with their learning and behaviour
  • Manage the behaviour of pupils while they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is maintained
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom in a professional and safe manner, adhering to safeguarding procedures
  • Carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
