Behaviour Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in North Bristol. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing academic and social support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning plans for SEN students
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and social development
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Facilitate small group interventions to support students with SEN
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • An empathetic, calm, and patient manner
