About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Programme Lead to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our Digital Transformation and Innovation team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex digital programmes that support our hospital's strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the delivery of programmes associated with our Digital Strategy, including projects and initiatives of significant size, complexity, and risk.
  • Manage programme performance, including risk escalation, management, and financial control.
  • Develop business justifications, business cases, and project artefacts in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Ensure services are continually reviewed and improved, actively seeking out and learning from complaints, compliments, investigations, and other information and intelligence.
  • Lead and manage the development of programme assurance processes, governance, and standards.
Requirements
  • Master's level education or equivalent experience working at a senior level leading digital transformation programmes in a complex environment.
  • Proven experience of effectively managing large complex programmes from brief through to delivery, including risk management and change control.
  • Highly developed, specialist knowledge and experience of managing a range of complex project and programme activities to formulate plans and strategies that have effect across multiple services or organisations.
  • Experience in resource management, managing workload priorities across multi-functional teams.
  • High-level awareness of Board-level working in a complex and changing organisation.
