The Business Process Analyst will play a crucial role in driving operational process efficiency and continuous improvement. This involves considering all underlying resources, including people, technology, training, communication, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering great customer outcomes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and driving Operational Excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document key business processes within the organization.
  • Define new, existing, and re-engineered processes through the Process Improvement Framework.
  • Document important business services as part of the Operational Resilience program.
  • Own change control and governance of existing key business processes.
  • Review existing processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and implement process change when identified.
  • Work closely with Operational Change Delivery to ensure new processes are designed, documented, and controls are identified and assessed.
  • Input into QA and Training areas to ensure processes are embedded.
  • Maintain the inventory for key business processes across the business.
  • Complete post-implementation reviews, capturing efficiencies, improvements, and success of changes.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of working within set process design principles and managing changes to existing processes in a financial environment.
  • Extensive experience mapping business processes and achieving operational efficiency, with relevant software skills.
  • Knowledge of loans, savings, and mortgages is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working within Financial Services is essential.
  • Ability to break down complex business problems and document clear solution steps.
  • Adaptability to change, with experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
