Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective audit plans to identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert advice on financial matters.
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of auditing techniques and procedures, as well as business processes and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct audits with independence and objectivity.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing packages, and other Windows-based applications.
- Considerable experience in a position responsible for compliance, auditing, and/or business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of, or active pursuit toward, a related professional designation such as CPA or CIA.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with compliance issues and systems, with the ability to analyze such processes and assess gaps.
- General knowledge and familiarity with computing systems and applications, or knowledge of Information Technology auditing.
