Laboratory and Facilities Technician

Our client, a biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, is seeking a skilled Laboratory and Facilities Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and service scientific facilities and equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of key research consumables.
- Provide general support for all scientific functions to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Perform hands-on practical tasks, including laundry and laboratory glassware collection, laboratory organization, and waste collection.
- Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and servicing.
- Support the Safety Officer with H&S duties, including PAT test visits and risk assessments.
- Report building issues to the landlord and follow up as required.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting, either in academia or industry.
- Basic computing skills in MS Office Suite software, Outlook, and other relevant software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work flexibly and attend occasional out-of-hours emergency calls.
