About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing hardware and software test cases for satellite/payload testing (SDR – Software defined radio).

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases for satellite communication systems and payload engineering.
  • Collaborate with the HW V&V team and Test Development team to ensure correct communication flow and convey information to stakeholders with expertise in both hardware and software domains.
  • Work with real-time operating systems (free-RtOS, or embedded Linux with real-time extensions), systems programming, concurrency, and scheduling.
  • Experience with Automated systems validation/regression testing and creating test cases using protocol simulators.
  • Knowledge of CCSDS or ECSS standards for Telecommand and Telemetry.
  • Experience in validation of software algorithms and operational systems against user-defined requirements.
