About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing hardware and software test cases for satellite/payload testing, specifically for Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications.

Your Role
  • Develop a deep understanding of space systems and satellite communication principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Design and implement test cases for Software Defined Radio concepts in payload applications.
  • Collaborate with the HW V&V team and Test Development team to ensure seamless communication and information flow.
  • Validate and verify real-time or safety-critical systems for payload applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, such as CCSDS and ECSS, for Telecommand and Telemetry.
  • Develop and execute test cases for payload SW testing, with a focus on satellite comms payload.
  • Work on interdisciplinary validation and troubleshooting of complex systems involving hardware, software, and algorithms.
  • Validate software algorithms and operational systems against user-defined requirements.
  • Experience with automated systems validation and regression testing.
  • Develop test cases using protocol simulators, with intermediate knowledge of Java programming.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems, systems programming, concurrency, and scheduling.
  • Experience working with open-source development stacks, such as Eclipse and GitHub.
