Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to assist business system owners in discovering avenues to enhance user satisfaction through system upgrades, optimization, and improved integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize enhancement & integration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal trainers to pinpoint any additional training needs or updates to existing training materials.
  • Recognize improvement opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to develop a roadmap and prioritized backlog.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned systems, aiding in development and enhancement initiatives.
- Support the technology chapter in its broader context as the provider of all internal digital systems, working alongside other chapter members to achieve this.
Qualifications

  • A background in systems integration, enhancement & software project management.
  • A solid understanding of project management (especially Agile), to manage tasks in time-constrained iterations.
  • Experience in enhancing system integration, particularly concerning data transfer, connectivity, and utilizing APIs for data exchanges.
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur, AVD, and Sapphire, and how to facilitate their integration to provide a cohesive view of finance to support the charity's objectives.
  • Ability to comprehend how systems interact and offer recommendations for further enhancements, such as improved cloud reporting opportunities or API/data source integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong digital skills and a comprehensive understanding of agile values & principles.
  • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
