About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Purfleet Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across the entire Pack Hall site.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain company housekeeping standards and liaise with the production management team to achieve production targets.
  • Carry out fault-finding and repair on packing machinery and process plant, as well as general maintenance on processing and packing machinery.
  • Repair and install a wide range of mechanical equipment using precision maintenance techniques.
  • Operate within Company Health and Safety policies and participate in the creation of risk assessments and method statements for maintenance tasks.
  • Support organisational goals and mentor and coach colleagues where needed.

Your Profile

  • Time served as an Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprentice.
  • Educated to C&G, NVQ, ONC or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Multi-skilled engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and experience in industrial maintenance and/or automated production environment.
  • CMMS experience/knowledge is preferred.
