Senior Advanced Process Control Engineer for Global Oil and Gas Operations

About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Advanced Process Control (APC) expert to join our team at MatchaTalent. As an APC engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing operations and improving economic performance across our global manufacturing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement APC strategies to streamline operations and enhance refinery efficiency.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify improvement opportunities and develop inferential models to optimize refinery operations.
- Implement new APC technologies and conduct feasibility studies to maximize desired product yields.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to provide subject matter expertise and support.
- Lead technical sessions and conduct periodic assessments to evaluate the performance of real-time optimization solutions.
- Monitor economic benefits and provide recommendations to optimize operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Advanced Process Control (APC).
- Demonstrated expertise in APC control systems and OPC communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of refinery economics, mass, and energy balances.
- Familiarity with international standards and specifications for advanced process control.
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of advanced process control.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.
