FM Conway is actively seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to enhance our Major Projects division. With a series of recent project acquisitions, we are eager to expand our workforce to facilitate the successful execution of these initiatives and aid in cultivating new client relationships in the London vicinity.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in the London area. The ideal candidate will be offered a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Engineer

  • Providing pre-contract support to develop PQQs, tenders, method statements, and project schedules.
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly documentation in line with IMS standards.
  • Ensuring precise and timely setting out of works prior to execution.
  • Delivering clear and detailed instructions to the project team regarding setting out and control measures.
  • Engaging with client representatives for clarifications and information requests.
  • Coordinating testing and QA schedules to ensure compliance with site specifications.
  • Mentoring apprentices, trainees, and graduates.
  • Conducting engineering and buildability assessments within design processes.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The successful candidate will possess experience in civil engineering, holding either a SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely qualification. We are looking for an individual with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, experienced in team growth, mentorship, and leadership. A degree in engineering, NVQ Level 4 or 5, or HNC/HND qualifications will be highly valued, along with a valid CSCS card.
