Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at MGM Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and margin growth, managing a sales team, and developing strategic relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet budgeted sales and margin targets for the branch.
  • Pricing – Manage agreed pricing policy in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
  • Monitor market price levels and agree strategy with Branch Manager.
  • Set and review branch Sales Development Plan to drive branch sales and margin performance.
  • Recognise poor sales performance and take steps to address in conjunction with Branch Manager.
  • Proactively maintain and support branch accounts.
  • Organise regular supplier and product training.
  • Conduct regular ledger reviews with sales staff and set actions to improve customer spend.
  • Carefully manage key accounts as well as seek out new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in delivering sales and margin targets.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
