Leaders In Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead and manage our Ofsted-regulated services across four homes in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and implementing programs to help young people develop independence skills and manage complex behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across four homes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Officer, addressing and reporting safeguarding concerns.
- Implement programs to help young people develop independence skills and manage complex behaviors.
- Collaborate with local authorities, professional partners, and external agencies.
- Conduct and update risk assessments, manage referrals, and oversee admissions.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring ongoing professional development.
- Assist with budget preparation and manage financial parameters.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Management (or equivalent).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- Proven experience in managing residential or supported living services for young people.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviors.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Leadership skills for managing a staff team and completing supervisions.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people in a residential care environment.
