Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Principal RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced RF systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced RF systems and technologies to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of RF systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other technologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in RF systems design and development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with model-based engineering and simulation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) technologies.
  • Knowledge of military and international specifications and standards for EMC, environmental, and safety.
  • Experience with electronics assembly and testing.
