Job Title: Sales Ledger and Invoicing Specialist

This role is part of our finance team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely generation of sales ledger invoices for services provided. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cash flow and resolving queries, while keeping relevant parties informed of updates and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Application for Payment (AFP) processes to secure certification from customers, enabling prompt invoicing and payment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to minimize invoice accruals and ensure timely client invoicing, escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensure all invoices contain the correct Purchase Order (PO) number and are processed to a high standard.
  • Process customer invoices and credits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle portal uploads using various customer portal systems.
  • Implement the invoicing process for new customers effectively.
  • Raise consolidated invoices and AFPs for multiple customers.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and queries, identifying and investigating billing errors and anomalies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales ledger role with experience in invoice processing.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel, and experience with Sage 200 accounting.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Resilient, proactive, and results-oriented individual with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
