Senior Tax Director

Job Summary:
BLT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our client's Indirect Tax Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all UK Indirect Tax matters, including SAP S/4 implementation and tax compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business advisory services on all indirect tax matters across the UK business.
- Manage and take ownership of VAT compliance processes and tax returns reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage the UK Indirect Tax Assistant, setting objectives and managing deliverables.
- Document and maintain the Tax Risk Register for SAO compliance.
- Work with the Group Head of Indirect Tax and key stakeholders to implement longer-term processes as part of the indirect tax strategy.
- Provide training and raise awareness of indirect tax matters.
- Manage and mitigate risks, and identify and optimize opportunities for tax savings.
Requirements:
- Line management experience.
- Experience with SAP.
