Job Title: Costs and Charges Senior Oversight Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Costs and Charges Senior Oversight Analyst to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Costs and Charges Oversight Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate reporting of performance figures and costs incurred by funds, while maintaining compliance with various financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the Costs and Charges reporting processes to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of regulatory reports
  • Ensure rigorous oversight of data accuracy in all reports, implementing checks and balances to maintain high-quality outputs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimise reporting processes, identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency
  • Work closely with IT and data teams to enhance reporting tools, developing automation capabilities, and streamlining data management systems
  • Support change management initiatives, working with relevant project teams to deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvements to reporting processes
  • Monitor and maintain process documentation, ensuring all procedures are up-to-date and fully aligned with operational policies and compliance requirements
  • Investigate and resolve reporting exceptions, ensuring issues are thoroughly understood and addressed to prevent reoccurrence
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise to foster knowledge development within the team
Requirements:
  • Strong time management skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing large data sets is advantageous
  • Ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and drive resolution
  • Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
