Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and control-focused Senior Oversight Analyst to join our Costs and Charges Oversight Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting Process Oversight: Oversee and manage the Costs and Charges reporting processes to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of regulatory reports.
  • Data Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure rigorous oversight of data accuracy in all reports, implementing checks and balances to maintain high-quality outputs.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimise reporting processes, identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Reporting Tool Development: Work closely with IT and data teams to enhance reporting tools, developing automation capabilities, and streamlining data management systems.
  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives, working with relevant project teams to deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvements to reporting processes.
  • Process Documentation: Monitor and maintain process documentation, ensuring all procedures are up-to-date and fully aligned with operational policies and compliance requirements.
  • Reporting Exceptions: Investigate and resolve reporting exceptions, ensuring issues are thoroughly understood and addressed to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise to foster knowledge development within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong Time Management Skills: Possess strong time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Data Management Experience: Experience managing large data sets is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and drive resolution.
  • Education: Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
