Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

A challenging and rewarding role has become available for an experienced retail or hospitality leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager in the Stevenage area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading supermarket brands, where you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, ensuring great customer service, and optimising operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in managing the store's daily operations, including stock management, customer service, and staff supervision.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance store performance.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Manager or Leader within fast-paced Retail or Hospitality sectors.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £37,000 - £47,000, depending on experience.

Please note that the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. If you are applying for a role within the M25, you will also receive an allowance of up to £3,090 dependent on location.
