Job Title: Cleaning Operations Manager

Thorn Baker is collaborating with a leading facilities management company to source a Cleaning Operations Manager for a high-end retail contract across the South Coast of the UK.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced cleaning manager to oversee the delivery of quality service and contract cleaning across the contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the service(s) / contracts under their control achieve budgeted profit levels set by the board directors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in line with board policies and procedures.
  • Train all staff and carry out an induction training program before commencement with the company.
  • Implement stringent procedures to ensure a quality service is provided to clients.
  • Conduct regular visits to carry out cleaning inspections and support the team with any issues.
  • Ensure that the equipment used at each location is regularly checked to ensure it is in line with the Electricity at Work Act.
  • Plan the allocation of tasks and responsibilities for personnel within their site.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively with effective management skills and coaching.
  • Ensure that administrative paperwork for the services/contracts is maintained.
  • Conduct and complete monthly audits.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cleaning management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to implement quality procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
