We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker FM. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and effective management of a team of cleaners, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties.
- Service Delivery: Deliver cleaning services in accordance with our FM strategy, site service charter, and service level agreements, monitoring key elements of the FM service.
- Client Interface: Provide a key interface between on-site clients and contracted service providers, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Financial Management: Monitor and report on service level agreements and key performance indicators, ensuring all services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to improve or rationalize hard services, achieving optimum performance and full customer engagement.
- Employee Relations: Manage all employee relations issues in accordance with company HR policies, recognizing and valuing diversity in all cases.
- Training and Development: Train and induct all colleagues in their role, the standards expected, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience: Proven experience within soft services, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility: Flexibility with shift times, occasionally, to adhere to client/site needs.
