About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the site
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitise high-touch areas
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organising your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
What We Offer
As a Cleaning Operative with Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will benefit from:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00, plus Sunday premium of £2.72 per hour
- 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays

Working Hours
This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, Saturday - Wednesday. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
