About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach and Engagement Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As an Outreach and Engagement Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting service users from point of entry into our service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral to service users
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement
  • Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Support service users to achieve social reintegration and lead meaningful and purposeful lives

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field. You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good IT skills. You will also be proactive and able to work on your own initiative, with excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
