Financial Planning Support Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Administrator to join our team at Schroders Recruitment and support our Financial Planners in their role.

What you'll do

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our financial planning advisers in all aspects of their advice process.

  1. Prepare meeting packs and documentation/reports for client meetings and annual client reviews.
  2. Carry out day-to-day administrative functions, complete and submit applications, and maintain accurate records on our internal CRM system.
  3. Prepare and send letters of authority and obtain information on client policies from ceding schemes and providers.
  4. Assist with the collation of client data and documents in the construction of suitable recommendation reports.
  5. New business submission and asset transfers – manage the case documentation process.
  6. Handle client and provider inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you need

  1. Minimum of 12 months administration experience within Financial Services, preferably within a wealth management and/or financial planning business.
  2. Excellent communication skills, high standards of literacy, and a professional telephone manner.

The knowledge, experience, and qualifications that will help

  1. R01, FA1, FA2 Qualified, or looking to qualify, is an advantage.
  2. Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems is beneficial.
