Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist ICT support to ensure high-quality learning facilities are established and maintained.
  • Connect and configure hardware for normal operation.
  • Set up desktop environments for users of standalone or networked PCs.
  • Install software applications as required.
  • Perform basic setup and checking of networked PCs.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks for user accounts.
  • Use utilities to update information on the intranet.
  • Provide technical expertise to assigned customer networks.
  • Manage and resolve problems using our ticket-based system.
  • Identify areas of growth within the school from a technical and engineering perspective and escalate to the account manager.
  • Communicate technical information to clients and commercial information to account managers.
  • Perform regular checks on client systems.
Requirements
  • Experience in a helpdesk or support environment.
  • Ability to work in teams to resolve common problems and participate in rollout project teams.
  • Desirable: Microsoft Server Skills.
  • Professional and polished communication skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in the education sector.
  • Must have a clean and valid DBS disclosure.
  • Keen desire to learn and expand on existing knowledge and skills.
