Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Shred-Tech. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate collections, and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including invoicing, payments, and credit limits.
  • Coordinate with sales and service departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts.
  • Process and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including aging summaries and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
