Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Shred-Tech. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate collections, and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including invoicing, payments, and credit limits.
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts.
- Process and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including aging summaries and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
