Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Engineering Team Manager to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Device Service Team, you will be responsible for providing innovative and responsive services across our geographical patch and clinical teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the EBME Manager in providing a high-quality service, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Line manage a team of engineers, implementing safe systems and promoting innovation.
  • Develop and implement robust governance practices, ensuring the effective management of medical devices.
  • Provide strong leadership to the medical engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.

Requirements
  • B Eng. in Electronics or equivalent experience, plus specialist training and experience to post-grad. Diploma or equivalent level.
  • Certificate in supervisory management or equivalent experience.
  • Manufacturer accredited training course certificates.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
