Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled E-Commerce Logistics Operations Manager to join a prominent distribution company. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities- Carrier Management: Oversee all third-party logistics providers and their contracts, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on carrier performance and compliance, ensuring timely claims submissions.
- Operational Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to implement operational changes that support new logistics services.
- Contract Oversight: Manage existing contracts and ensure compliance with new carrier agreements.
- Cost Optimization: Evaluate carrier routing options to enhance service delivery while minimizing costs.
- Performance Analysis: Develop and maintain analytical reports to assess carrier performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Network Efficiency: Analyze logistics networks across the UK and Europe to enhance customer service and reduce operational expenses.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with internal teams to gather customer feedback and improve overall service quality.
- Demonstrated experience in a logistics management role, particularly within a courier or parcel delivery environment.
- Familiarity with large-scale B2C parcel distribution networks.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions that positively impact customer satisfaction.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for data manipulation and visualization to uncover trends.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
