Our client is eager to welcome a motivated Customs Operations Specialist to join their Customs Team, ensuring timely and efficient clearance processes.
Working Hours:

Key Duties:
- Generate job files and accurately input data into customs software to ensure timely submissions.
- Review data provided by clients against required sources and advise on any discrepancies.
- Prepare Import and Export declarations utilizing customs software such as CDS.
- Monitor and track the status of declarations.
- Communicate with all relevant parties, addressing queries efficiently and effectively. Provide guidance on current customs procedures and regulations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Direct experience in customs operations for a UK-based freight forwarder, customs broker, or transport company.
- Proficiency in both Import and Export clearances.
- Familiarity with customs software such as CDS, Destin8, CNS, Pentant, or CCS is advantageous.
- Understanding of HMRC compliance and regulations is preferred.
