Job Description

Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Sustainability Officer to lead our corporate responsibility programme.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of implementing corporate responsibility programmes in the financial services industry and will be responsible for setting up and implementing our sustainability programme across the firm.

The key accountabilities of this role include:

  1. Reviewing and assessing our proposed three-year sustainability programme.
  2. Implementing organisational process or policy changes to support our sustainability goals.
  3. Developing sustainable organisational policies and practices.
  4. Building strong internal relationships to form a sustainability team.
  5. Creating and managing governance arrangements for sustainability and ensuring appropriate reporting across the organisation.
  6. Communicating our sustainability efforts internally and externally, with a focus on preparing a sustainability report over a three-year period.
  7. Using sustainability data effectively to drive change across the organisation.
  8. Developing an environmental strategy to improve our credentials and set future emissions targets.
  9. Researching environmental sustainability issues and concerns.
  10. Encouraging and supporting employee volunteering on sustainability projects.
  11. Developing methodologies to assess the viability of sustainability initiatives.
  12. Managing outreach activities.
  13. Identifying educational and training opportunities for sustainability employees.
  14. Developing sustainability reports and proposals for stakeholders.
  15. Evaluating green operations and programmes for compliance with standards and regulations.
