Learning and Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Officer to join our team at Blakemore Retail. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for delivering effective and well-targeted digital and online learning across our business.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Support the delivery of digital and systems project work required by the business, including training guides, eLearning, and other emerging technologies.
- eLAB Training: Own and manage the BR/BTP monthly eLAB training, including designing, monitoring, evaluating, scheduling, and assigning tasks.
- Online Inductions and Training: Create functional online inductions and training matrices for Blakemore Retail and Blakemore Logistics and Central Services teams.
- eLearning Development: Identify, design, deliver, and evaluate eLearning required across the business.
- Communication and Engagement: Use social media and internal communications to ensure understanding of learning and development opportunities for all colleagues and Independent Retailers.
- Resource Development: Establish a library of online resources, including videos, podcasts, and eLearning, to support self-directed learning and blended learning.
- Mandatory Training: Identify requirements for mandatory eLearning training across the business and build this into inductions and refresher schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate all digital and online learning as a continuous improvement process.

- Management Qualification: Level 3 management qualification or relevant experience is essential.

- Continuing Professional Development: Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.
- Project Management Qualification: Project management qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
