About the Role:

Oscar Underhill Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. As a Floating Support Worker, you will provide direct emotional and practical support to individuals in need, promoting their recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis support and referrals to specialist services as required
  • Deliver and record accurate and timely handovers to ensure smooth transitions of support
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contact and progress
  • Function as a named Keyworker to individuals in the service
  • Monitor and review individuals' physical, emotional, and psychological condition
  • Work with individuals to explore opportunities to improve their quality of life, develop their skills, and make positive decisions about their future
  • Provide general, practical, and holistic support to promote recovery and independence

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Current Adults Enhanced DBS
  • Flexibility to work across the week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
