Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Support Worker

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Support Worker to join the pharmacy team at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the pharmacy department by allocating routine duties to Band 2 Pharmacy Support workers.
  • Participate in environmental monitoring and stock management programmes.
  • Deliver training to Pharmacy Support Workers in conjunction with senior technicians.
  • Supervise and assist with attendance management of Pharmacy support workers.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or SVQ level 2 qualification.
  • SCQF level 6 qualification or demonstrate equivalent level with significant experience of working in a Pharmacy.
  • Good level of general education, basic numeric and literacy skills.
