NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Support Worker to join the pharmacy team at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre. The successful candidate will contribute to the day-to-day running of the pharmacy department, allocating routine duties to Band 2 Pharmacy Support workers and participating in environmental monitoring and stock management programmes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Allocate routine duties to Band 2 Pharmacy Support workers
  • Participate in environmental monitoring and stock management programmes
  • Deliver training to Pharmacy Support Workers in conjunction with senior technicians
  • Supervise and assist with attendance management of Pharmacy support workers

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or SVQ level 2
  • SCQF level 6 qualification
  • Good level of general education, basic numeric and literacy skills
